The calendar of engagements
Membership entitles the holder to participation in three engagements of distinction across the year. The membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June, in line with the Australian financial year.

The Spring Sojourn
Friday 4 September 2026
A day’s pursuit at a course of standing within the hour of Newcastle, taken on the Friday before Father’s Day. Eighteen holes with cart, followed by a civilised luncheon with refreshments.

The Summer Soirée
Saturday 6 February 2027
A second day’s pursuit, taken at a different premium course on the first Saturday of February. Eighteen holes with cart, followed by a leisurely luncheon with refreshments.

The Grand Assembly
Friday 14 to Sunday 16 May 2027
The flagship occasion of the calendar, held the weekend following Mother’s Day at Bonville, Coffs Harbour. Two nights’ lodging, two rounds with cart, dinners and refreshments throughout.
Subject to availability
The inaugural calendar is that of FY 2026–27. Venues are settled by the Board and are not published in advance of arrangements being made.
Certain engagements may reach full allocation without notice. Transport to and from engagements is a matter for Members. This is consistent with established practice.
